Salata Caesar

Below you will find a version of the all favorite caesar salad

Total preparing time 1h 15 min

Ingredients (for 4-6 persons):

  • 4 halves of chicken breast boned and skinned
  • marinade (for the chicken)
  • 1 large salad
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • sweetcorn (as much as you like)
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • 3-4 tea spoons worchestershire sauce
  • 120 ml olive oil
  • 2-3 tea spoons dijon mustard
  • 1 baguette
  • 20g butter
  • herbs (for the croutons and sauce, basil, oregano curry, mint, etc.)
  • the juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 50 g parmesan



In a cup mix the butter with the smashed garlic (2 large cloves),30 ml olive oil and herbs. pour the mix over the baguette cubes (cut the baguete in small cubes)  and put them in the oven until they get golden-brown.


Cut the breast in cubes mix it with the marinade and leave it for 1-2 hours. Fry it in oil, then remove as much oil as you can.(you can put some paper napkins on the plate before putting the chicken on it)


Mix 90 ml olive oil with the mustard, the rest of the garlick(smashed), worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper,herbs and the lemon juice.

The actual salad:

Cut the salad, tomatoes, green pepper and onion, add the sweet corn and the chicken. The croutons, sauce and parmesan are to be added when you serve the salad.

Try a  Chardonnay with the salad 😉

Timp total Pregatire: 1h 15 min

Ingrediente (pt 4-6 persoane):

  • 4 jumatati de piept de pui dezosat si fara piele
  • Marinata cu lamiae (pentru pui)
  • 1 salata mare
  • 2-3 rosii
  • 1 ceapa medie
  • 1 ardei gras
  • Porumb (dupa gust)
  • 4-5 catei de usturoi
  • 3-4 lingurite sos Worchwstershire
  • 120 ml ulei de masline
  • 2-3 lingurite de mustar de Dijon
  • 1 bagheta (pt crutoane)
  • 20g unt
  • Ierburi (pt crutoane si sos) (busuioc, oregano, curry, cimbru, menta, etc.)
  • Zeama de la o jumatate de lamiae
  • 50g parmesan ras



Se amesteca intr-o cana untul cu mujdei din 2 catei de usturoi(de marime medie spre mare), 30 ml ulei de masline si ierburi dupa gust. Amestecul rezultat se toarna peste bagheta taiata cubulete si asezate pe o tava. Tava se baga la cuptor pana se rumenesc un pic crutoanele.


Pieptul se taie cubulete si se pune la marinat 1-2 ore apoi se prajeste in ulei. Dupa prajire se scurge bine de ulei (eventual intr-o farfurie cu servetel ca sa absoarba uleiul)


Se amesteca 90 ml ulei cu mustarul, mujdei din 2-3 catei de usturoi (mari), sosul worchestershire , sare, piper, ierburi dupa gust si zeama de lamiae.

Salata propriu-zisa:

Se taie salata, rosiile, ardeiul gras si ceapa, se adauga porumbul si puiul, crutoanele sosul si parmezanul se adauga cand se serveste.

Incercati sa serviti si un Chardonnay cu salata 😉
